The Founders of Restoration Free Gospel Church would be none other than Bishop John W. Briscoe and the late First Lady Mary Ann Briscoe. Together they manifest the vision God has given them of reconciling individuals through restoration. Bishop John W. Briscoe and family were led to St. Matthews Free Gospel Church in 1981 where they were baptized in Jesus Name and filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost.

After many dedicated years in ministry, Bishop Briscoe was ordained to the position of Elder. Having a calling to preach, teach and restore Bishop Briscoe founded Restoration Free Gospel Church in October 2005. Bishop John and the late First Lady Mary Ann Briscoe have been married for over 54 years and have five wonderful children. 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
